Q. How does the Audiojelly music player work?
The Audiojelly player has been designed so you can continue to browse the site whist still listening to your selected tracks. The playlist is very simple to use: just browse the site and click the headphone button to add it to the playlist. The first track you select will start playing automatically and will then continue through your whole playlist until it reaches the end. You can add more tracks, pause a track or skip through tracks at any time during this process without interruption. Should you click the stop button, you will need to click the song on the playlist to start the player again. You can also click on any of the songs you want to listen to and the player will immediately skip to that song.
Q. How are my downloads delivered?
After completing a transaction, you will be given a link to your Downloads section (also accessible from the 'Downloads' button at the top of the screen), where you can download your tracks. Current downloads are presented under the 'Current Downloads' tab. Simply click on the 'download' button to start downloading the track. Alternately you can click on the 'Zip Files' tab to compile your tracks into a zip file which gives you the advantage of being able to download multiple tracks at once.
Q. How can I activate a coupon?
Click on 'Coupons' in your Downloads section. Here you will see a list of coupons that you have available. Click on the name of the coupon or the 'Activate' button to redeem your coupon. Your tracks will be automatically placed into your current downloads.
Q. What bit rate are the downloads?
All downloads from Audiojelly are mp3s at the rate of 192kbps. Most new releases and selected tracks from back catalogues are also available at the rate of 320kbps. We use industry standard software to encode and provide the highest quality.
Q. Why can I only download 2 tracks at once?
Some computers are only set up to handle downloading two tracks at once. If you have purchased more than two tracks or an album, you may have to wait until two downloads have been completed before downloading further tracks. Alternatively you can use our zip file system which will let you download all your tracks in multiple files.
Q. How long does each download take?
This depends on your computer and your internet connection. If you are on Broadband, a typical track should take no more than a couple of minutes. If you are using a dial up modem, a single track could take anything up to ten minutes.
Q. Why is there an extra 50 pence charge if I use a debit card instead of a credit card?
Unfortunately, this extra charge is out of our hands. There is a minimum charge for all debit card transactions, so this means if you purchase one track it will cost you £1.50. However this charge only applies for each transaction – not each track, so ten tracks purchased in the same transaction will still only have an extra charge of 50 pence.
Q. How can I find out about new releases on Audiojelly in advance?
By subscribing to our newsletter, you will be notified of new releases prior to them being made available on the site. If you have any enquiries about future releases of any of our artists, email us with your questions.
Q. How do I use vouchers?
Once you have purchased or are given a voucher you will be sent a 'voucher code'. This is a 20 character unique code that represents your voucher. To use it simply place items into your shopping cart as normal, and when you get to the checkout enter the voucher code into the voucher code box. This will automatically deduct the value of the voucher from the value of the contents of your shopping cart. If your voucher is of greater value than the products in your cart then you retain the voucher but at the reduced amount. The voucher is valid until it's complete value is spent. If the value of the cart is higher than the value of the voucher then you simply pay the difference.
